Jason and his team have done our landscaping (extensive landscaping), installed a new fence, and built a beautiful new front stair way and patio (amongst many other things). "Jason Miller and his team at Creative Landscaping did a good job for us. Creative Landscaping has been operating under the same business name and working in the local area for many years.
We had an existing wood composite deck that was no longer viable. We replaced with a paver patio.
We set up an appointment to discuss the design and options with Jason to build a quote. We spent a good bit of time discussing the options and did not feel rushed. Jason brought color samples and let us know where the design center paver display was if I wanted to see more types of stone/block before making a final decision. We finalized the design and put a deposit down to hold our start date.
We appreciated Jason's communication style; he either answers the phone or returns calls quickly/ same day. Even when delays occurred for weather, Jason was on the phone letting me know when to expect them next (sometimes was either later in the day or next day). When I had design questions or concerns, Jason got back to me. When construction glitches happened, Jason communicated the issue as well as options for solutions and let us decide the path. I talked with Jason every day while they were on site and he spelled out what was going to be accomplished. On the quote, the cost of materials and labor were always broken down by line item which makes it easily readable.
Jason was a part of his construction team, not just a supervisor. He was out there cutting blocks on site, driving the small CAT loading stone into the foundation, checking-in multiple times per day to see that his team was on track, and multiple days they all worked until late to make sure that the goals for the day were accomplished.
We are very happy with our new patio. The workmanship is very professional looking and built solid. When I was unsure how to design an integrated area to existing landscaping Jason came up with a concept that I was very pleased with. I appreciated his vision which adds to the artistic compliment as well.
Along the way, we also added another job for Jason. Our front door paver walkway has settled over the years and ended up being a trip hazard. Jason and his team lifted the entire old paver set, leveled the area, added base material, replaced our original paver set, and regrouted. Our walkway is now level and the steps are equally sized as well. We are very happy with our new/ old paver walkway thanks to Jason."
